  Food and beer are good for the price and location. Diesel is pricey but it is everywhere here until you get across the border down south. We took an unpowered site for $20 ($10 pp) which seemed great value until we realised that we were sleeping between two generators, one from the hotel and one from the police station. Rough nights sleep so can't recommend staying here.

  Braden and his team at the pub are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Whenever I go there with my friends, we always have an amazing time. They even provided birthday cakes

  Food was good and you could afford the beer. Camped out behind the pub. This is a good quiet, safe place to get off the hiway.

  Lost some of its charm. It appears new owners aren’t embracing the old outback that is know and loved.

  Why do some roadhouses think that it’s a good idea to have a sign saying that the toilets are for use by customers only? Generally, when I use the facilities at a Roadhouse, I always feel a little bit guilty and go and buy something after using the toilets anyway.
  
  As soon as I saw the sign on the toilet, saying the facilities are for customers only, I went straight in, used them, walked straight out and back to my car and drove off without paying for anything! I believe this is human nature!
  
  You’re a Roadhouse, business owner. People are going to stop and use your toilets whether you like it or not. Get used to it, or go into a different business. It’s not wise to put potential customers, offside, where they might have been like me and actually bought something if you hadn’t been so passive aggressive.

  Nice place, easy to get to as it is on the highway. Good atmosphere. Picnic area is to the north of the station, but don't park outside the shed, the local gets really upset. Lots of room to park caravans also.
